Hiring a photo booth was going to run us in the ballpark of 800 bucks. We ended up picking this up with a 10 pack of the film. All in all, we were looking at around 300 exposures and this camera for hundreds less than it would cost to hire a photo booth.The camera was easy to use, held up for our needs, and only required a battery change once during the night - which is pretty impressive considering it was used for nearly 250 shots. The camera seemed a little toy-like, but it seemed to help ease the guests by not having a complicated piece of equipment for them to use. Our guests were really great with being creative in their composition and really seemed to have fun with it. I still have some of the film left over from the wedding reception. The photos turned out great. The colors were vibrant, contrast and balancing were pretty good, especially considering it was a instant camera. We used these photos for our sign-in book. Only time will tell how well the photos retain their color and integrity. We used 3M acid-free tape and archival ink gel pens (Zebra Sarasas) in the wedding book. So far, the tape is still holding the photos in the book without any problems. The photos are still as vibrant as they were when we looked at the book on our wedding night.I'm excited about using the INSTAX again in the near future for some other application ...
